Designed an accessible patient-portal interface for booking, records, and messaging — meeting WCAG AA while keeping the UI warm and unclinical.
The work
Process
Audited the legacy portal against WCAG AA, rebuilt color and typography for contrast, and designed a booking flow tested with older adults and screen-reader users.
Outcome
Achieved WCAG AA compliance across core flows and cut average booking time significantly in tests with the target audience.
