A ground-up UX/UI redesign of a mobile banking app focused on clarity and calm. I reshaped the money-movement flow and rebuilt every screen on a tokenized UI system.
The work
Process
Started with 14 user interviews and a heuristic audit of the existing app. Mapped the core jobs, wireframed the transfer flow, then designed high-fidelity screens and ran two rounds of prototype usability testing before handing off tokens and specs.
Outcome
Task completion for transfers rose from 61% to 92% in usability tests. Support tickets tagged 'confusing UI' dropped by roughly a third in the first quarter after launch.
